SOBA BUSINESS Buckwheat Business
01 About Our Buckwheat Business Initiatives
A taste of home from a small farm in Inner Mongolia
"Inner Mongolia is the birthplace of buckwheat culture, where buckwheat is a staple and a familiar part of daily life. In Kolan Banner, the village where our CEO was born, it was common for every household to have a flour mill, allowing them to enjoy fresh buckwheat.
The buckwheat we handle is carefully grown by farmers in Kurunbanar for their own families, and we receive a small portion to process into products using advanced Japanese technology."
Creating a healthy lifestyle through buckwheat
"Our mission is to spread and develop the buckwheat culture, so that the fresh buckwheat enjoyed in Inner Mongolia can be enjoyed in Japan and China.
Focusing on buckwheat's abundant nutrients-low in calories and high in protein - we are developing a variety of products, including sweets and diet drinks, to support the health-conscious modern person.
With the concept of ""a healthy lifestyle born from nature,"" we continue to research and develop the potential of buckwheat every day."

Proper Temperature Control and Hulling Technology
Our buckwheat is processed in a constant-temperature workshop using low-temperature techniques to preserve its protein, as well as its rich mineral content and vitamins B1 and B2. Furthermore, we use advanced Japanese technology to remove the coarse hulls, producing buckwheat of exceptional purity.

"Our buckwheat has cleared the standards of China's third-party testing and certification service, China Testing & Inspection Institute (CTI), ensuring its safety and security.
The buckwheat we export to Japan makes up 10% of the Japanese market share each year, and it has held a significant position in the Japanese buckwheat market for the past 20 years." 03 / 03
03 Flow The Journey from Cultivation to Product

"To grow high-quality buckwheat, we start with ""soil preparation.""
We adjust the location and the amount of fertilizer to create the ideal soil. Instead of aiming for a large harvest at once, we sow a small amount of seeds with space between them, which allows each grain to grow larger and become higher quality."

"If buckwheat is milled immediately after threshing, small impurities like soil can mix into the flour, which changes the taste and texture.
We own a dedicated factory with a low-temperature warehouse for storing the buckwheat at the proper temperature.
We also handle the entire process from polishing to hulling the grains ourselves."

"We have installed three custom-made Japanese machines in our noodle factory.
This enables us to produce noodles of even higher quality."

"Beyond traditional buckwheat flour and noodles, we aim to create products that appeal to a younger audience.
We want to make stylish, easy-to-eat desserts and new products with a unique, satisfying texture.
We plan to develop these products to be easy, affordable, and healthy, and we will offer them in both Japan and China."
